Roselyn A. Dwyer

LYNDHURST-Roselyn A. Dwyer (nee McWatters) of Lyndhurst passed away Saturday, Feb. 23. She was 87 years old. Mrs. Dwyer was born in Harrison and lived in Lyndhurst for over 60 years.

She worked at the Meadowlands Racetrack for 11 years before retiring. Earlier, she worked as a teller for the National Community Bank in North Arlington for many years.

Mrs. Dwyer is predeceased by husband James J. She is survived by children Patricia Brody, James Dwyer and his wife Linda, Barry Dwyer and his wife Sharon and Kevin Dwyer and his wife Karen. She is also survived by grandchildren Sharon Daniel, Steven Brody, Eric, Colleen, Renee, Lauren, Jennifer and Caitlin Dwyer, Casey and Lee Kenworthy and great-grandchildren Matthew, Erika, Ryan, Colin, Jenna, Erin, Tara and Siabella.

On Feb. 27, relatives and friends attended the funeral from Parow Funeral Home and then to the funeral mass from Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, both in North Arlington. The services were followed by interment in Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum.

The family would appreciate donations made to the Bayonne Visiting Nurses, Hospice Program, 325 Broadway, Bayonne, NJ 07002 in her memory.

Louis DiGennaro

NORTH ARLINGTON-Louis "Gino" DiGennaro passed away Thursday, Feb. 21. He was 73 years old. Mr. DiGennaro was born in Jersey City and lived in Italy before moving back to Jersey City and to North Arlington 15 years ago.

He worked for Mannie’s Cigarette Service in both Jersey City and Union before retiring.

Mr. DiGennaro is survived by wife Gertrude (nee Onorato), daughter AnnaMarie Crossett and granddaughter Alexandra Crossett. He is also survived by sister Antoinette Rutigliano and brothers Vito, Enzo and Dominic DiGennaro.

On Feb. 25, relatives and friends attended the funeral from Parow Funeral Home and then the funeral mass from Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, both in North Arlington. The services were followed by interment in Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, also in North Arlington.

The family would appreciate donations made to the American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer St., Hackensack, NJ 07601 in his memory.

Rosa C. Edwards

RUTHERFORD-Rosa C. Edwards (nee Clark) of Rutherford passed away Feb. 20. She was 86 years old. Mrs. Edwards was born in North Little Rock, Ark.

She was a switch board operator for S&B Penick  for many years.

Mrs. Edwards is predeceased by husband Robert C. She is survived by children Robert, John, Martha McGlynn and Judith Edwards and sisters Martha Morgan, Elizabeth Matthews and Cathy Thomey. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

On Feb. 25, relatives and friends attended the funeral service from Macagna Diffily Onorato Funeral Home in Rutherford. The service was followed by interment in Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, N.Y.

Jean Wegrzynowicz 

RUTHERFORD-Jean (aka Regina) Wegrzynowicz of Rutherford passed away Feb. 23. She was 92 years old. Mrs. Wegrzynowicz was born in Shamokin, Pa. and lived in Rutherford for the past 50 years.

She was a member of the Women's club of New Jersey and an active member at the Red Cross, helping solicit blood donations from companies across northern New Jersey.

Mrs. Wegrzynowicz is predeceased by husband Joseph. She is survived by children Joseph and Carol. She is also survived by grandchildren Stuart and Michelle and great-grandson Tate.

On Feb. 27, relatives and friends attended the funeral from Macagna Diffily Onorato Funeral Home and then the funeral mass from St. Marys RC Church, both in Rutherford.

Jean J. Kreutzer

RUTHERFORD-Jean J. Kreutzer (nee Taraskewicz) of Rutherford passed away Saturday, Feb. 23. She was 83 years old. Mrs. Kreutzer was born in Dunmore, PA and lived in West New York before moving to Rutherford.

She was a baser employed by Dura Test Corp. for 28 years upon her retirement in 1987. She was a member of the Rutherford Golden Age Club and St. Mary’s R.C. Church.

Mrs. Kreutzer is predeceased by husband Edward and grandson John J. Kerkowski, III. She is survived by daughters Dorothy Kerkowski and her husband John Jr. and Karen Paustian and her husband Jack and sister Irene Phelps of Shrewsbury, PA. She is also survived by grandchildren Robyn Fritsch and her husband Steve, Timothy Paustian, Jeanmarie Anicito and her husband David, Kimberly Kerkowski, Aimee Keich and her husband David and Carmita Kerkowski, as well as eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

On Feb. 28, relatives and friends attended the funeral mass from St. Mary’s R.C. Church in Rutherford. The service was followed by interment in Hillside Cemetery in Lyndhurst. Arrangements were made by the Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home in Rutherford.

Gregory A. Burch

RUTHERFORD-Gregory A. Burch of Rutherford passed away Sunday, Feb. 24. He was 37 years old. Mr. Burch was born in Jersey City.

He worked for Roadway Express in Moonachie.

Mr. Burch is predeceased by mother Carol Burch. He is survived by father Ronald, brother Peter and sister Susan Collin. He is also survived by niece Reese Morgan Collin.

On Feb. 28, relatives and friends attended the funeral from Macagna Diffily Onorato and then to the funeral mass from St. Marys RC Church, both in Rutherford. The services were followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
