Wallace Harvey Thomson
NORTH ARLINGTON-Wallace Harvey Thomson, of North Arlington, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 10. He was 79 years old. Mr. Thomson was a resident of North Arlington for 45 years.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict and after an honorable discharge, he returned to the family business as an experienced wood and metal pattern maker. He later became president of the company.
Mr. Thomson is survived by wife Lucille and three children, Mary, Richard and Jeffrey and their families. He is also survived by sister Dorothy Caprio, sister-in-law Dorothy Thomson and other family members.
On Jan. 17, relatives and friends gathered at Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home in Rutherford.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart and Lung Association.
Evelyn Young
NORTH ARLINGTON-Evelyn Young (nee Dunn), of North Arlington, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 15. She was 93 years old. She was born in Jersey City and lived in Kearny before moving to North Arlington in 1989.
She was a member of the Nutrition Center in North Arlington.
Mrs. Young is predeceased by husband Joseph. She is survived by daughter Lois Scofune, three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by friend Marilyn Torres.
On Jan. 17, relatives and friends attended the funeral from Parow Funeral Home in North Arlington. The service was followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, also in North Arlington.
Stella Ludviksen
Stella Ludviksen (nee Guszkowski), of Cedar Grove, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 16. She was 85 years old. Mrs. Ludviksen was born in Jersey City and lived in North Arlington before moving to Cedar Grove two years ago.
She worked in the maintenance department of the Pegasas Restaurant at the Meadowlands Racetrack in East Rutherford for 10 years before retiring 20 years ago. Previously, she was a seamstress for the Bollenback Company in Lyndhurst for many years.
Mrs. Ludviksen is survived by children Linda Kurasz and Kenneth Ludviksen, grandchildren James and Michael Kuracz and great-grandson Bryan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
On Jan. 18, relatives and friends attended the funeral from Parow Funeral Home in North Arlington. The services were followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, also in North Arlington.

Margaret F. Brim
RUTHERFORD-Margaret F. Brim (nee Spadola), of Rutherford, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 16. She was 81 years old. Mrs. Brim was born in Staten Island.
She was a bookkeeper for Bellavia Buick for 28 years before retiring in 2001.
Mrs. Brim is predeceased by husband Edward. She is survived by daughters Denis Geier and her husband, Steven and Elizabeth Ersalesi and her husband Buddy and her son Edward and his wife, Deborah. She is also survived by three sisters Ann Kiley, Aida Dierking and Jean Butler and six grandchildren, Jeffrey, Dennis, Brian, Bradley, Eddie and Ryan.
On Jan. 19, relatives and friends attended the funeral from the Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home in Rutherford. The service was followed by interment in East Ridgelawn Cemetery in Clifton.
