Elsie E. Dolan
NORTH ARLINGTON-Elise E. Dolan (nee Young), of North Arlington, passed away on Friday, Dec. 21. She was 84 years old. Mrs. Dolan was born in Spotswood and lived in Belleville before moving to North Arlington nine years ago.
Mrs. Dolan was a homemaker.
She is predeceased by husband Patrick Joseph Dolan, daughter Patricia Dolan and sons Patrick J. Dolan Jr. and Jimmy Dolan. She is survived by daughters Rosemary Dolan, Kathleen Dolan, Margaret Rizzolo, Mary Ann Dolan and Maureen Trento. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended the funeral mass from Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in North Arlington. The service was followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Arrangements were made by Parow Funeral Home, also in North Arlington.
Ann Fiume
LYNDHURST-Ann Fiume (nee Pellegrino), of Lyndhurst, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 23. She was 76 years old. Mrs. Fiume was born and raised in Jersey City and has been a resident of Lyndhurst for four years.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Fiume is predeceased by husband Alfred J. Fiume. She is survived by children Ann Marie Fiume and her husband, Garry Sindler, of Baltimore, MD, Mark Fiume and his wife, Janet, of Lyndhurst, Dr. Freddy Fiume and his wife, Joanne, of Rutherford and Rocco Fiume and his wife, Dorothy, of Rutherford. She is also survived by brothers, Joseph Pellegrino and his wife, Mary Ann, of Manchester and Frank Pellegrino of Columbus, brother-in-law, Albert Fiume and his wife, Helen and seven grandchildren.
On Dec. 28, relatives and friends attended the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home in Lyndhurst then to the funeral mass from Our Lady Mount Carmel Church in Ridgewood. The services were followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
Charles M. Maguire
NORTH ARLINGTON-Charles M. Maguire, of North Arlington, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 23. He was 65 years old. Mr. Maguire was born in Ireland, moved to Lyndhurst in 1949, and has been a resident of North Arlington for the past seven years.
He worked for Mazur’s Bakery in Lyndhurst for 25 years, retiring in 1999.
Mr. Maguire is predeceased by parents, Terence Maguire and Catherine (nee McGriel) and brother, James P. Maguire. He is survived by siblings Mary Gaffey of North Arlington, Ann Ryan of Farmingdale, Frank Maguire of Citrus Gardens, Fla. and Terence J. Maguire of Wayne. He is also survived by nieces and nephews Michael, Cathy, and Sean Ryan, Jennifer, James, Jesse, Ryan and Cory Maguire, Mary Ellen Zidak, John P. Gaffey and Siobhan Neoruter.
On Dec. 28, relatives and friends attended the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home in Lyndhurst, then the funeral mass from Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in North Arlington. The services were followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
Mary De Donato
LYNDHURST- Mary De Donato (nee Coco) of Lyndhurst, passed away on Dec. 24. She was 83 years old. Mrs. De Donato was born and raised in Clifton and has been a resident of Lyndhurst for 65 years.
Mrs. De Donato worked for RS Knapp Co. in Lyndhurst for 15 years, retiring in 1990. She was a member of the Emblem Club and Sacred Heart Seniors, both in Lyndhurst.
She is survived by husband Anthony De Donato, sons Joseph and his wife JoAnn De Donato, of Montville and James De Donato, of Rutherford and daughter Marcia Tackney, of Port Jervis, N.Y. She is also survived by grandchildren Danaree and Edward Tackney and Kimberly and Michael De Donato and two great-grandchildren.
On Dec. 29, relatives and friends attended the funeral from Nazare Memorial Home Inc. and then the funeral mass from Sacred Heart Church, both in Lyndhurst. The services were followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
Rosemarie Scott
Rosemarie "Rosie" Scott (nee Romano), of Lakewood, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 25. She was 75 years old. Mrs. Scott was born in Jersey City and lived in Rutherford before moving to Lakewood.
She was a receptionist for YKK Zipper Co., located in Lyndhurst. She was also a member of Milford Bible Church in Milford, Pa.
Mrs. Scott is predeceased by son Micahel. She is survived by son John Scott, daughters Linda Brown and Susan Drury, 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by sisters Frances Tripp and Anne Teen and brother Leonard Romano.
On Dec. 29, relatives and friends attended a funeral service from Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home in Rutherford. The service was followed by interment in Milford Cemetery, Milford Pa.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl,. Memphis, Tenn. 38105-1942.
Anna Swartz
Anna Swartz (nee Cron), of Kearny, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 25. She was 84 years old. Mrs. Swartz was born in Holly, Pa. and moved to Kearny in 1953.
She was proud to be known as a "Farmer’s Daughter." She worked as an Assembler for Western Electric, Kearny for 27 years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of their Pioneer Club.
Mrs. Swartz is predeceased by husband, William Swartz. She is survived by son William S. Swartz and his wife, Laurie, daughter Deborah Ann Russell and her husband, Michael and by grandchildren Rachael and Renee Swartz, Michael Russell and Kerri Ann Robbins. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren and her nephew, Robert Jan Sislian and his wife, Vivian.
