Corrado Mancini
Corrado Mancini passed away July 20, 2007 in Englewood Hospital. He was 73 years of age. Mr. Mancini was born in Italy and resided in New Milford before moving to Little Ferry where he made his home for 31 years.
Mr. Mancini was self-employed as a carpenter for over 50 years at C. Mancini Construction in Lyndhurst. He was a member of Carpenters Local #15.
Mr. Mancini is survived by his wife Rosa Mancini (nee Mastellone), daughter and son-in-law Camilla and Barry Leventhal of Hasbrouck Heights, son and daughter-in-law Corrado and Diane Mancini of Bogota, brothers Saverio Mancini and Felice Mancini, sisters Carmela Sgherza, Marta Altamura and grandchildren Corrado, Alexander, Jenna, Angelica, Ava and Kayla.
Family and friends were received July 23 at Ippolito-Stallato Funeral Home. A funeral was held July 23, followed a Mass in St. Margaret of Cortona Church in Little Ferry. Entombment was held in Holy Cross Mausoleum in North Arlington.
Elsie G. Johnson
North Arlington — Elsie G. Johnson of North Arlington passed away July 18, 2007 in St. Cloud Health Care Center in West Orange. She was 97 years of age. Ms. Johnson was born in Kearny and a lifelong resident of North Arlington.
She was employed as a secretary for Prudential Insurance Co. in Newark for 40 years before retiring in 1970.
Ms. Johnson was predeceased by her brother Alvin G. Johnson. She is survived by many loving friends.
A funeral service was held July 20 at Parow Funeral Home in North Arlington, followed by interment in Arlington Cemetery in Kearny.
Joseph E. Brown
Joseph E. Brown passed away July 22, 2007 in Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. He was 93 years of age. Mr. Brown was born in Lyndhurst and lived there many years before moving to Paramus.
He was employed as a foreman for Anheuser Busch in Newark for 30 years and retired in the 1980s. He was a Staff Sgt. in the United States Army during WWII. Mr. Brown was a member of Barringer-Walker-LoPinto American Legion Post 139.
He was predeceased by his wife Henrietta. He is survived by his sisters-in-law Marie Doomany and Evelyn Frauenknecht and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends were received July 24 at Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home in Lyndhurst. A funeral service was held July 25, followed by a Mass in Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Lyndhurst. Entombment was held in Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum in North Arlington.

Antoinette Ciarco
Lyndhurst — Antoinette Ciarco (nee Candito) of Lyndhurst passed away July 24, 2007. Born and raised in Bloomfield, she moved to Lyndhurst where she remained a resident since 1952.
Mrs. Ciarco worked as a homemaker.
She was predeceased by her husband Philip J. Ciarco, Sr. Mrs. Ciarco is survived by her children Philip J. Ciarco, Jr. and his wife Kathleen, Carol Ciarco, grandchildren Philip Ciarco and Shauna De Marco and great-grandchildren Gabriella, Robert Jr., Matthew Philip, Anthony Charles De Marco and Nicole, Madison and Philip J. Ciarco, V and sisters Susie Schibelli, Yolanda Barrasso and Florence Ugaro.
Family and friends were received July 26 at Nazare Memorial Home in Lyndhurst. A funeral was held July 27, followed by a Mass in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Lyndhurst. Interment was held in Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Jane T. Kutney
east Rutherford — Jane T. Kutney (nee Hawrusik) of East Rutherford passed away July 14, 2007. She was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Mrs. Kutney was employed by Du-Mont Fairchild Corp. in Totowa as a senior accountant. She served 20 years as treasurer and office manager of the Employees Federal Credit Union. Mrs. Kutney was a member of St. Mary’s of the Assumption Slovak Church in Passaic, where she was a trustee. She also served as a Eucharistic minister, lector, member and officer of the English Rosary Society, parish council member, liturgy committee and member and officer in the Passaic-Clifton Chapter of the National Council of Catholic Women.
She was predeceased by her husband Henry C. Kutney, brothers Joseph, Michael and Leo Hawrusik and sisters Lucy Martin, Mary Rodriguez and Theresa Roth. Mrs. Kutney is survived by her son Ronald Kutney of Wilmington, DE, daughter Sandra Kutney of Port St. Lucie, FL, son and daughter-in-law Robert and Catherine Kutney of Brookfield, WI, daughters and sons-in-law Gail and Louis Carlin of Clifton, Gloria and Fred Farina of East Rutherford, grandmother of Kimberly, Christine, Steven, Jennifer, Meagan, Traci, Patrick, Christopher, Justin, Sarah, Jessica, Cheryl and Daniel and great-grandmother of Katlyn, Jaclyn, Julia, Michael, Matthew, Danielle, Nicolle, Ashley, Taylor, Tyler and Spencer.
Family and friends were received July 16 and 17 at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home in Clifton. A funeral was held July 18, followed by a Mass in St. Mary’s R.C. Church in Passaic. Interment was held in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Saddle Brook.

Adele P. Heber
lyndhurst —Adele P. Heber (nee Appel) of Lyndhurst passed away July 25, 2007. She was 81 years of age. Mrs. Heber was born in Altoona, PA and lived in Wallington and East Rutherford before moving to Lyndhurst 10 years ago.
She was a licensed practical nurse and employed at Passaic General Hospital and in the office of Drs. Paul DeMuro and Richard Stefanacci for 20 years. Later she worked for Olsten Health Care in Clifton and Hackensack and retired in 1992. Mrs. Heber was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in East Rutherford. She was a member of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, Charter member of the Wallington Volunteer Ambulance Corps and member of the Lyndhurst Housing Senior Social Group.
Mrs. Heber was predeceased by her husband Herman Heber, brothers Arthur and Eric Appel, sister Anna May Happell and daughter-in-law Diane Heber of Mount Arlington. She is survived by her son Warren Heber of Mount Arlington, son and daughter-in-law William and Nancy Heber of Oakridge, daughter and son-in-law Evelyn and Colin Swift of East Rutherford, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and brother Raymond Appel.
A funeral was held July 28 at Kimak Funeral Home in Carlstadt, followed by interment in Crest Haven Memorial Park in Clifton.

Margaret Kasperan
carlstadt— Margaret Kasperan (nee McCabe) of Carlstadt passed away July 25, 2007. She was 84 years of age. Mrs. Kasparan was born in Newark and resided in Carlstadt for 25 years.
She worked as a homemaker.
Mrs. Kasperan was predeceased by her husband Peter Kasperan and brother Hugh McCabe. She is survived by her son John Kasperan of Cranford, daughters Judith Scott of Middlesex, Kathleen Fenske of Carlstadt, Margaret Ann Viespoli of Union, Andrea Anusavage of Bloomfield, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A Mass was offered July 28 in St. Joseph’s Church in East Rutherford, followed by interment in Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. Kimak Funeral Home made the arrangements.
