Michael Carrino

 

RutherfordMichael Carrino of Rutherford, passed away July 7, 2007. He was 91 years of age. Mr. Carrino was born in Jersey City and later resided in Toms River before moving to Rutherford.

He was employed as a foreman for Apex of North Bergen.

Mr. Carrino is predeceased by his wife Anna Carrino (nee Durante). He is survived by his son Donald Carrino, daughter Lynn Minervini, grandchildren Christine Nydam, Lori Minervini, Richard Minervini, Charles Carrino and great-grandchildren Ami, Michael and Bambi.

Family and friends were received July 10 at Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home in Rutherford. A funeral Mass was offered July 11 in St. Mary R.C. Church in Rutherford. Cremation was private.

 

 

Patricia Ellen Hickey

 

RutherfordPatricia Ellen Hickey of Rutherford passed away July 6, 2007 in Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck. She was 51 years of age. Ms. Hickey was a lifelong resident of Rutherford.

She was employed as an accountant for LIG, Management Services, Inc., Fort Lee. Ms. Hickey was a member of the Catholic Alumni Club of North Jersey, served as a St. Mary’s pastoral council chairperson, Eucharistic minister and Rosary Society member.

She was survived by her sister Kathleen E. Hickey and her husband Joe Lakis, many cousins and dear friends, companions Jack (dog) and all her feline friends,

Family and friends were received July 9 at Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home in Lyndhurst. A Mass was offered July 10 in St. Mary’s R.C. Church in Rutherford. Cremation was private.

Donations may be made in Ms. Hickey’s memory to any animal organization.

 

 

John F. Rubinetti, Sr.

 

LyndhurstJohn F. Rubinetti, Sr. passed away June 2, 2007 in the Christian Health Care Center in Wyckoff. He was 92 years of age. Born and raised in Jersey City, Mr. Rubinetti resided in Lyndhurst for 54 years.

Mr. Rubinetti was employed in sales and marketing for over 50 years before retiring in 1981 from Sea Traine Lines of Weehawken. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church and member and past president of the Lyndhurst Booster Club, all of Lyndhurst.

Mr. Rubinetti was predeceased by his wife Grace Rubinetti (nee Kerr), and son Roger Rubinetti. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy Ann and Ronald Chesney, son and daughter-in-law John F., Jr. and Angela Rubinetti, seven grandchidlren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends were received June 5 at Nazare Memorial Home in Lyndhurst. A funeral Mass was offered June 6 in Sacred Heart Church in Lyndhurst. Interment was in Hillside Cemetery in Lyndhurst.

 

 

Josephine Inzinna

 

North ArlingtonJosephine Inzinna (nee D’Afonso) of North Arlington passed away July 9, 2007. She was 89 years of age. Mrs. Inzinna resided in Jersey City prior to living in North Arlington.

She was employed at Duro Test Company in North Bergen for 20 years and retired in 1993.

Mrs. Inzinna was predeceased by her husband Dominick Inzinna and son Dennis Inzinna. She is survived by her children Benjamin Inzinna and his wife Lena, John Inzinna and his wife Rose, Donna Rose Inzinna and daughter-in-law Mary Lou Inzinna, sister Anne Duliso, 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends were received July 11 at Nazare Memorial Home in Lyndhurst. A funeral was offered July 12, followed by a Mass in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington. Interment was held in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.

 

 

Sadie R. Coffaro

 

Sadie R. Coffaro (nee Antico) passed away July 5, 2007. She was 95 years of age. Mrs. Coffaro was born in Brooklyn and resided there before moving to Moonachie in 1950.

She worked as a homemaker. Mrs. Coffaro was a member of the Moonachie Senior Citizens.

She was predeceased by her husband Paul J. Coffaro, son Augustine Coffaro, Brother Joseph Antico and sisters Rose Scurti and Petrina Maniscalco. Mrs. Coffaro is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Paul F. and Patricia Coffaro of East Rutherford, granddaughters and husbands Patricia and Christopher Davison, Christina and David Orr, Michele and Eugene Colacino, grandsons James Coffaro, Christopher Coffaro, granddaughter Stephanie Kidd, great-grandchildren Shane Paul Davison, Jack Anthony Colacino, and nine other great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Concetta Rapuzzi and Sally Coffaro of Brooklyn and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass was offered July 10 in St. Joseph’s R.C. Church in East Rutherford, followed by interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Iselin. Arrangements were made by Kimak Funeral Home in Carlstadt.

 

 

John P. Obletiloff

 

John P. Obletiloff passed away July 8, 2007. He was 87 years of age. Born in Medvedez, Czechoslovakia, he resided there before moving to Carlstadt for 40 years and later lived in Sarasota FL.

He was employed as a Certified Public Accountant for Samuel Klein & Co. in Newark for 39 years and retired in 1986. Mr. Obletiloff was affiliated with SS. Peter and Paul R.O. Cathedral in Passaic. He was a member of the Army Air Force in World War II, was a life member of VFW Post 3149, Carlstadt, Eclipse Lodge 259 Hasbrouck Heights, American Institute of CPA, NJ, State CPA, AARP National, Scottish Rite Salaam Temple, Livingston, Masonic Club of Wood-Ridge, Charter member Henry P. Becton Regional High School Board of Education, Past President and former member of Carlstadt Board of Education for 15 years.

Mr. Obletiloff was predeceased by his first wife Margaret Obleitiloff (nee Barno) and second wife Eileen Obletiloff (nee Taylor) and son John M. Obletiloff. He is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law Mary and Rudoph Domyon of Leawood, KS, Regina and Ronald Rutledge of Sarasota, FL, sister Anna Moore of Prairie Village, KS and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends were received July 16 at Kimak Funeral Home in Carlstadt. A funeral Mass was offered at SS. Peter and Paul R.O. Cathedral in Passaic July 17, followed by interment in Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Paterson.

 

 

George J. Rotella Jr.

 

Lyndhurst George J. Rotella Jr. passed away July 11, 2007. He was 32 years of age. Mr. Rotella was born in Jersey City, but lived in Lyndhurst most of his life. He was a construction worker and a member of Local 29 Jersey City.

He is survived by his parents George and Maureen, by his sister Deana Halvosa and her husband Frank, of Wayne, by his niece Gianna Halvosa, and by his nephew Frankia Halvosa.

A funeral service was held July 16 at Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home in Lyndhurst followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.

 

Giovanna M. Celli

 

Giovanna M. Celli passed away July 7, 2007. She was 81 years of age. Ms. Celli was born in Lyndhurst. She lived there and in East Rutherford for most of her life. Most recently she lived in Cranford.

Ms. Celli was a LPN for many years, retiring in 1997. She was a member of the Rosary Society of Sacred Heart Church.

She was predeceased by her sister, Josephine Friscia, and by her brother Anthony.

She is survived by her brother Peter and by eight nieces.

A funeral service was held July 12 at Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home in Lyndhurst, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.

 

Domenica M. Dillon

 

North Arlington - Domenica M. Dillon (nee Pollari) passed away July 10, 2007. She was 71 years of age. Mrs. Dillon was born North Arlington, where she lived all her life. She was a homemaker.

She was predeceased by her son Anthony, and by her brothers Anthony and Joseph Pollari.

She is survived by her husband John, by her son John Jr. and his wife Dana, by her son Billy and his wife Trisha, by her daughter Patricia Baffuto, and by eight grandchildren.

A funeral Mass was held July 13 at Queen of Peace R. C. Church in North Arlington, followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Arrangements were made by Parow Funeral Home in North Arlington.
