Stella Castrovinci
LYNDHURST-Stella Castrovinci (nee Quaas) of Lyndhurst passed away Friday, April 18. She was 86 years old. Mrs. Castrovinci was born in Passaic, was raised in Rutherford and had been a resident of Lyndhurst for over 62 years.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Castrovinci is predeceased by husband Nunzio B. Castrovinci. She is survived by sons Dominic Castrovinci of Wantage and Frederick Castrovinci of Lyndhurst. She is also survived by sister Margaret Brooks of Rutherford and five grandchildren.
On April 22, relatives and friends attended the funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., then to the funeral mass from Sacred Heart R.C. Church, both in Lyndhurst. The services were followed by interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, also in Lyndhurst.
William F. Moran
William "Bill" F. Moran of Kihei, Hawaii passed away April 5. He was 73 years old.
He served three tours of duty in the Army during the Korean Conflict, in Japan and Germany. He worked for the Wood-Ridge High School system as a bus driver and also a cook in the school cafeteria. He later owned and operated B&M Stationary Store in Wood-Ridge. He was very active in the VFW Post 3616 of Wood-Ridge and served as commander for several years. He moved to Maui, Hawaii over 21 years ago.
Mr. Moran is predeceased by parents Edward and Margaret Moran. He is survived by sister Patricia LeVrier of San Antonio, TX and brothers John, Edward, Thomas and Kevin Moran, all of NJ. He is also survived by step-children Ellen, Joseph, Patti, Nancy and Mark Cook of NJ, soul mate Kathy Burke and many nieces and nephews.
On April 26, relatives and friends attended the memorial service from Kimak Funeral Home. The service was followed by a private cremation.

Mary M. Quinn
NORTH ARLINGTON-Mary M. Quinn (nee Krake) of North Arlington passed away Sunday, April 13. She was 89 years old. Mrs. Quinn was born in Scranton, PA and lived in Newark before moving to North Arlington 31 years ago.
She worked as a nurse’s aide at the West Hudson Hospital in Kearny for 16 years before retiring 20 years ago.
Mrs. Quinn is predeceased by husband James J. Quinn and brother Raymond Krake. She is survived by children Patricia Fox of Ohio, Mary Sharon Carolan of Clifton and Robert J. Quinn of Norht Arlington, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Florence Jacoby and Helen Sweeney of Scranton, PA and Shirley Tolan of Dumore, as well as many nieces and nephews.
On April 26, relatives and friends attended the funeral mass from St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Scranton. The service was followed by interment in Cathedral Cemetery, also in Scranton. Arrangements were made by Parow Funeral Home of North Arlington.
Richard J. Meek
Richard J. Meek of Flanders passed away Monday, April 21. He was 62 years old. Mr. Meek was born in Kearny and lived in Lyndhurst for 40 years before moving to Stillwater, and was a resident of Flanders for the past year.
Mr. Meek is survived by daughters Lori Woolis and her husband, William, of Lyndhurst and Amanda Youngberg and her husband, Neil, of Queens, N.Y. and grandchildren Dean Woolis and Logan and Evan Youngberg. He is also survived by aunt Estelle Rydberg of Kearny.
On April 24, relatives and friends attended the funeral service from Nazare Memorial Home in Lyndhurst. A private cremation was held.
George R. Rienzo
Dr. George R. Rienzo of Wood-Ridge passed away Monday, April 21. He was 97 years old.
Mr. Rienzo is survived by son George Rienzo and his wife, Cookie and grandson Michael.
On April 23, relatives and friends attended the funeral from Sacred Heart Church in Lyndhurst. Arrangements were made by Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home in Rutherford.
Marybeth Nolan
Marybeth Nolan (nee Jurkowski) of Wallington passed away Monday, April 21. She was 46 years old. Mrs. Nolan was born in Passaic and lived in Rutherford before moving to Wallington.
She was a medical biller for Physicians Management, located in Rochelle Park.
Mrs. Nolan is predeceased by husband Dennis Nolan and parents Eugene and Regina Jurkowski. She is survived by sons Shea and Kyle, daughters Caitlin and Kelly, sisters Kathleen Davich, Dianne Carnevale, Jean Hubbard and Patricia Tosado and brothers Michael and Thomas Jurkowski. She is also survived by in-laws James and Eileen Nolan, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
On April 25, relatives and friends attended the funeral mass from St. Mary R.C. Church in Rutherford. The service was followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Arrangements were made by the Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home in Rutherford.

Magdalena O. Lozada
Magdalena O. Lozada of Toms River passed away Sunday, April 20. She was 104 years old. Mrs. Lozada was born in the northeast region of Mexico, lived in Linden and was a resident of Rutherford for 50 years before moving to Toms River a month ago.
She enjoyed dressmaking, gardening, helping others and music. She was a member of Rutherford Congregational Church in Rutherford and the Screen Actors Guild of New York.
Mrs. Lozada is predeceased by husband Antonio Lozada and daughter Angelica Lozada Marks. She is survived by son Charles A. Lozada and daughter Martha E. Lozada, both of Toms River, a granddaughter, Maria Victoria Lorentzen and her husband, Robert, of Dallas, TX and two great-granddaughters, Kristen and Bethany Lorentzen.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 2, at 11 a.m. at Rutherford Congregational Church, located on 112 Prospect Pl. in Rutherford with Rev. Gregory Rupright officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations in Magdalena’s memory may be made to Rutherford Congregational Church. Arrangements were made by Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home in Toms River.
Helen P. Schoener
RUTHERFORD-Helen P. Schoener (nee McDermott) of Rutherford passed away April 25. She was 79 years old. Mrs. Schoener was born in Brooklyn, NY.
She was a bank manager for Chemical Bank of Manhattan for many years.
Mrs. Schoener is predeceased by husband William J. and brother Joseph McDermott. She is survived by sister Margaret Weber and nephew Bill and his wife, Roseann. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews.
On April 28, relatives and friends attended the funeral from Macagna Diffily Onorato Funeral Home and then to the funeral mass from St. Marys RC Church, both in Rutherford. The services were followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
