Legion remains unbeaten

In week five of the North Arlington Boys Middle Division soccer action, action was literally the word to best describe it. This week’s first game had Priority Construction over Kearny Federal Savings Bank 3 to 0. Jonathan Desouza lead Priority with two goals as Kevin Vieira had one. Edward Torres kept Kearny off the scoreboard recording three saves.

In the second game North Arlington Legion remained unbeaten this spring ousting Knight's of Columbus 5-1 in North Arlington boy's middle division. Robbie Wisowaty took a perfect throw in from CJ Burbach and booted the ball high in the left goal corner giving Legion a one-goal lead. Legion never looked back with Lucus Braga scoring two goals on quick break always. Christian Rylick and CJ Burbach both scored in the second half. Giving up the lone goal to Knight's Andrew Fernandez was Kyle Camacho who tended the goal the entire game making several impressive saves. Cody Paparelli made several saves for the Knight’s.

In previous action on April 12, North Arlington Legion ousted Priority Construction 7-2 in the boys middle division.

Leading N.A. Legion with four goals was Lucus Braga, who also recorded two assists. C.J. Burbach, Christian Rylick and Eric Campion each netted one goal apiece for Legion. Robbie Wisowaty and Matt Borrelli had three assists each. Kyle Camacho was the winning goalie. Scoring for Priority was Jashua Fareiha with two goals, while Tom Ferrie made several saves.

The league’s second game had Knights of Columbus shutting out Kearny Federal Savings Bank 5-0. Joel Silva was the offensive hero for the Knights, scoring four goals and Dylan Smethers added one goal. Eric Pace remained strong in the net for Kearny Federal, making six saves.
